MOL is the 1st online mediation platform in Brazil. The startup is a was founded in 2015 by Camilla Feliciano Lopes & Melissa Felipe Gavais. Melissa began her career as a conflict mediator in Europe and had the idea for MOL when she returned to continue her work in Brazil but found the legal mediation options scarce. She volunteered as a judicial mediator in São Paulo and began studying the market.
I came up with the idea of creating a mediation service in order to popularize access and lower the cost of the procedure, and with the best possible experience for the user.
Brazil is the largest litigant per capita in the world, that is, they are the country with the largest number of lawsuits. They believe that the diffusion of alternative conflict methods coupled with scalable technology can change this scenario.
The MOL platform specializes in conflict resolution, management and prevention, for individuals, companies and institutions. Their mission is to bring efficiency to the legal market and democratize alternative methods of conflict resolution.
